Neuroscience Researcher Intern

IFF is a leading company in the development and production of flavors, fragrances, and ingredients for various industries. Our products are used by other manufacturing companies producing a wide range of everyday consumed products.
The Product Experience (PX) department plays a key role in product development processes by understanding consumer needs and expectations. With guidance from PX researchers, the intern will conduct applied research on neuroscience, mainly using EEG (electroencephalography).
Responsibilities- Prepare all necessary material for a test (equipment setup, stimuli, samples, etc.).
- Collect EEG and behavioral data, and support the analysis.
- Write a report with results and recommendations for business.
- Presentation of key findings and recommendations to the internal team.
- Scientific: good knowledge in neuroscience/psychology (brain physiology, brain imaging techniques, psychophysiological tests, at least some notions of data analysis and interpretation); statistical skills desirable (e.g., parametric analysis); programming skills are a plus (e.g., Matlab, Python).
- Computer science: being at ease with digital environment; experience with Microsoft Excel (i.e., macro and functions), XLSTAT is a plus.
- Language: mandatory scientific and professional English, written and oral.
- Personal: pragmatic and solution-oriented student with analytical mindset.
