Financial Reporting Specialist for FMCG Industry

We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience in accounting and external reporting, including understanding U.S. GAAP and close processes. They will also possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform moderately complex analysis of performance results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support accounting and external reporting activities, including accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting and statutory financial reporting.
  • Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, investing in personal development and contributing to the overall development of peers.
  • Perform moderately complex analysis of performance results as requested.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical expertise in accounting and external reporting, including understanding U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP.
  • Business acumen, with experience working in FMCG/CPG industry or Big Four accounting preferred.
  • Leadership skills, including proven business partnering and communication skills.
  • Growth/digital mindset, with the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
