About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Compliance Advisor to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Business Compliance Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in safeguarding the compliance risk appetite of the Client Unit Wealth Management (WM) in NL and NW Europe.
  • Act as a general practitioner of the Compliance Function by having overall knowledge of compliance, while knowing when to seek advice from other Compliance experts.
  • Take individual and joint responsibility for specific tasks, such as privacy risk, advising on compliance of marketing and communication texts, behavioural risks, and advising on new products and services.
  • Interact with 1st line specialists in WM Products and WM Sales.
  • Strike the right balance between the client's interests, other stakeholders' interests, and the applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Follow relevant internal and external developments and translate these into expert advice.
  • Communicate clearly and transparently, both orally and in writing.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in compliance, risk management, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 7 years of work experience and an academic work and thinking level, preferably in legal or business. You should also have experience in banking and investments and be able to operate in an international context.

What We Offer
  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team and depending on your position).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
