Job Title: Automation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Manager to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Heerlen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating all automated processes within the warehouse, ensuring seamless communication with various departments, and overseeing the control room team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of process controllers and WCS key users
  • Organize departures from the distribution centre based on SLA Agreements
  • Monitor the sortation process to ensure timely departures
  • Stakeholder management with the Customer department to achieve objectives
  • Manage incidents and optimize costs with Business Support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree/HBO in related fields or engineering
  • Master in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in automation
  • High knowledge of Logistics/supply chain
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
