Application Manager for E-commerce and Store Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Application Manager to join our team at AS Watson, a leading international health and beauty retailer. As a key member of our Group IT Europe Store Technology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding software and hardware solutions for our online and offline stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our AS Watson Store Operational Platform, ensuring seamless communication between different parts of the system and internal AS Watson systems.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to drive business growth and optimize operations, working closely with our functional managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with our Group IT Asia Store Technology team and Global IT development team in China to share best practices and drive innovation.
  • Configure and test system adjustments independently, ensuring timely delivery of new features and improvements.
  • Create clear and concise knowledge transfer documents for local IT teams using Confluence, facilitating smooth communication and knowledge sharing across the organization.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in application development or management in a fast-paced and dynamic retail organization.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
