Shipdesign Engineer

About the Role:
As a Shipdesign Engineer at Vuyk Engineering, you will be responsible for creating 3D models and 2D designs for various types of vessels using software like Autocad, Nupas, and Rhino. Your task will be to set up functional designs for hull constructions, taking into account weight, building procedures, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D designs for vessels using specialized software
• Develop functional designs for hull constructions, considering various factors
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from the vessel design department, equipment design, and marine operations
• Possess a Bsc. in Maritime engineering, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Have experience with engineering and design tools like Nupas and Autocad
• Bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar position and a willingness to develop in Engineering, with a focus on CAD and 3D modelling
