About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Control team at Allseas. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control and automation solutions on top of the PLC layer of our machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software architecture for control systems
  • Implement and test software solutions using C/C++ and scripting languages
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate hardware and software components
  • Develop and maintain tooling and CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in simulator testing and commissioning of control software
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in a technical field and a passion for software development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with software architecture design, package management, and tooling
  • Familiarity with C/C++, scripting languages, and Make or CMake
  • Experience with real-time embedded software is a plus
  • Proactive, good communication skills, and interested in technology
