About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional pastry experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring high-quality production and presentation of desserts
  • Supervise and coordinate pastry preparation, presentation, and plating to meet hotel standards
  • Develop and implement seasonal menu offerings, in collaboration with our culinary team
  • Manage food cost controls and contribute to F&B revenue growth
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of pastry production and presentation techniques
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
