Finance Professional Wanted for Accounting Leadership Role

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to join our team as Assistant Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial administration within our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Dutch administration and accounting, including associated tax obligations;
  • Support month-end and year-end closings, financial statements, tax filings;
  • Act as the first point of contact within the team;
  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager and contribute to the optimization of financial processes;
Key Responsibilities:

As Assistant Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

  1. Managing and reviewing General Ledger accounts in collaboration with the Financial Controller;
  2. Recording and managing fixed assets in the LN database;
  3. Preparing and monitoring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings;
  4. Preparing and reviewing tax filings (including VAT) for the Netherlands;
  5. Responsible for administration and accounting in Belgium, including compliance with local regulations;
  6. Assisting with CBS reports and cash reconciliations;
  7. Handling ad hoc financial matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or Business Administration;
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge and experience in financial closings and financial statement processes;
  • Experience with Belgium accounting and tax regulations.
