Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at BBD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Azure.
  • Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.
  • Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to the Azure cloud platform.
  • Ensure cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for Azure-related incidents and issues.
  • Maintain backup and disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure.
  • Stay current with Azure developments and incorporate new features and technologies where appropriate.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and other staff.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with business processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, Golang.
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD and Release Engineering tooling and practices.
Language:

Fluent in Dutch and English.
