About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our dynamic managed platform services team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions on Azure
  • Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Manage and monitor Azure resources and services, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Ensure cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulations, including GDPR
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
  • Strong background in automation and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, Golang
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
