About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Manager with strong experience in delivering software solutions, preferably within the financial industry, to serve as the single point of day-to-day contact for our clients. This role involves providing delivery oversight, account management, and commercial management of our relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for one client relationship, including definition, managing the margin on each project, invoice process, and target profitability documentation.
  • Establish strategic relationships with stakeholders internally and externally and manage assigned accounts successfully.
  • Communicate issues, manage client expectations, and be accountable for building trusted relationships with delivered satisfaction.
  • Ensure realistic project, quality, change control, and risk management processes are maintained, including revenue and cost forecasting.
  • Contribute to the growth of assigned accounts in the Insurance area.
  • Support presales activities involved in acquiring new clients, including developing proposals and identifying delivery units.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing agile software development projects, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Fluent Dutch and English (at least C1 level).
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting client relationships up to executive level within client organisations.
  • Skilled in technology delivery, people, and change leadership.
  • Strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to think strategically and manage stress well in order to retain objectivity and keep overall objectives in mind.
  • Strong management methods, techniques, and tools for effective delivery management from initiation to implementation.
  • Previous experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • A willingness and desire to get under the skin of technical problems while also being able to think, operate, and influence at executive level.
  • Contract management methods/techniques and experience.
