We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Application Specialist Cadmatic to join our team at Nouvall Engineering Services in Vlissingen, Netherlands.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a dedicated professional who will enhance the engineering capabilities within our Computer-Aided Design platform, focusing on Cadmatic throughout the product lifecycle. As a Functional Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes, directly impacting our projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Converting engineering requirements into functional specifications for application development, ensuring seamless integration with our design process.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze challenges and formulate solutions that drive innovation and improvement.
- Creating and implementing processes and functionalities for the application, leveraging your expertise in Cadmatic and CATIA platforms.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners, fostering a collaborative environment that drives business success.
- Overseeing the integration of applications with Cadmatic, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
- Managing user access rights within the application, maintaining confidentiality and security standards.
- Setting up and configuring project environments in Cadmatic, streamlining our workflow and enhancing productivity.
- Coordinating training sessions related to the application with our Engineering Support Manager, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
- Offering functional assistance to PLM/CAD users concerning Cadmatic, providing expert guidance and support.
- Preparing and developing training materials, guidelines, and user documentation for Cadmatic, ensuring our team has the necessary resources to excel.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding, with a strong foundation in CAD software and systems.
- Excellent proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, as well as familiarity with CATIA and the 3DExperience platform from Dassault Systemes.
- Understanding of PLM principles along with experience in functional application management, driving process improvements and enhancements.
- An excellent command of the English language, with proficiency in Dutch being an advantage.
- Willingsness to work at our locations in Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands, with occasional travel required.
- Strong references, with pre-employment security checks a standard part of our recruitment process.
