Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. is a leading provider of project support services for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry.
We are seeking a highly qualified and driven Interior Engineering Specialist, with a focus on joinery for accommodation and technical spaces, to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the effective subcontracting and detailed engineering of joinery systems for our naval vessels. Your knowledge will facilitate the conversion of design concepts into accurate technical specifications, guide engineering processes, and ensure adherence to rigorous quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive technical specifications for joinery work, aligned with industry regulations and standards.
- Partner with procurement and supply chain teams to identify suitable materials and vendors for accommodation joinery and insulation.
- Assist with quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to confirm that completed joinery meets the necessary standards.
- Offer technical support and direction to the production team, addressing any challenges that may arise during the project.
- Keep thorough documentation of joinery specifications, modifications, and project developments.
- Collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure the seamless integration of joinery with other ship systems.
Functie-eisen
To thrive as an Interior Engineering Specialist, you should have the following qualifications and qualities:
- A Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Specification Engineer or in a similar capacity, specifically focused on joinery in the maritime sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of joinery materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting complex engineering data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A keen attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with the construction processes and regulations pertaining to naval vessels is advantageous.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is a notable advantage.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
