Experienced Joinery Engineer for Naval Vessels

We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer Interior to join our team at Nouvall Engineering Services B.V. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and experience working on naval vessel projects.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging shipbuilding projects with a focus on joinery. As an Integration Engineer Interior, you will be responsible for formulating functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors, developing comprehensive technical specifications for joinery work, and partnering with procurement and supply chain teams to identify suitable materials and vendors.
Responsibilities- Developing technical specifications for joinery work aligned with industry regulations and standards.
- Partnering with procurement and supply chain teams to identify suitable materials and vendors.
- Assisting with quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to confirm that completed joinery meets the necessary standards.
- Offering technical support and direction to the production team.
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of joinery with other ship systems.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Specification Engineer or in a similar capacity, specifically focused on joinery in the maritime sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of joinery materials, methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
