Job Title: Passenger Service Agent

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Passenger Service Agent to join our team at Skytanking. As a Passenger Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our airline customers and ensuring a smooth and efficient passenger experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all passenger processes are completed in accordance with CAA and DfT regulations and airline procedures.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service to passengers, ensuring their experience is exceptional and memorable.
  • Complete check-in and boarding processes for passengers and their baggage, in accordance with EASA and CAA regulations and airline policies.
  • Meet or exceed performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the airline or Skytanking.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the Front of House team to maximize teamwork and efficiency.
  • Ensure that all equipment, such as wheelchairs, is checked and meets health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to maximize teamwork and efficiency.
  • Read and understand station instructions at the start of each shift to ensure awareness of any relevant changes.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues, where possible, and inform supervisors.
  • Report incidents or accidents involving customers, staff, equipment, or aircraft to supervisors immediately.
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks in a timely manner and communicate relevant information as needed.
  • Ensure that all work areas, such as check-in desks and gates, are safe and report any issues.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a ground steward or in a similar role.
  • Completed MBO-4 education, preferably in Aviation Services or Travel & Hospitality.
  • Availability to work irregular hours and weekends.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and safety within set time limits.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch and English.

  • 22.5% overtime pay on top of your basic hourly rate.
  • Other allowances for tasks such as de-icing or first aid.
  • Reimbursement for travel costs up to 20 km one way (max. €9.20 per day).
  • If you use public transport to get to work, your travel reimbursement is a maximum of €16.20 per day.
