Technical Lead for Frontend Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Frontend Technical Lead to join our Development & Design team at Eurail B.V. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the frontend development team and guide them in achieving technical excellence.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality frontend code, ensuring it meets the company's standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other leads and the architect to drive technical and architectural decisions.
  • Mentor team members and help them grow and improve their skills.
  • Be the go-to person for complex problems and technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
  • Experience in code reviews and setting code standards.
  • Experience with DevSecOps culture and Agile way of working.
  • Proficiency in Javascript & Typescript, React (v17/v18) and CSS standards and SCSS.
  • Experience in a B2C eCommerce environment.
  • Knowledge of AWS, and especially serverless technologies.
  • Proficiency in responsive design & grid systems, understanding A11Y standards.
  • Desire to improve and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Proficient in English language (both oral & written).
  • Analytical thinking and technical decision-making.
  • Proficient in interpersonal communication.
