About the Role
Lely is seeking a skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our team in the development of high-quality technical documentation for our automated feeding systems. As a key member of our technical support department, you will play a crucial role in creating and updating technical manuals, instructions, and other documents that are essential for the correct use, installation, and maintenance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our Lely Troubleshooting Advisor app, ensuring that technical documents meet the needs of our customers and users.
- Analyze data and feedback from the field to identify gaps in our knowledge base and work with the team to close these gaps, providing engineers worldwide with access to current and complete information.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and target audiences into new or updated materials, such as technical manuals, instructions, and other documentation, to ensure that our documentation meets user needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new training courses and expand existing training courses, ensuring that technicians around the world are well prepared to efficiently maintain and use our automated feeding systems.
Requirements
- Strong technical writing and editing skills, with the ability to create high-quality technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps in our knowledge base and develop solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
