Job Title: Senior ICT Solutions Architect

Europol is seeking a highly skilled Senior ICT Solutions Architect to join its Architecture Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing ICT solutions that meet the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ICT solutions that meet the organization's strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with software and infrastructure engineering and ICT operations teams to provide architecture guidance and contribute to solution engineering
  • Translate business requirements into solutions architecture and designs
  • Produce baseline and target solution architecture documentation
  • Ensure roadmaps are aligned with business strategy and overall ICT evolution
Requirements:
  • Experience in architecture definition, specification, change management, and providing architecture supervision and support to ICT delivery projects
  • Experience in designing applications for large-scale deployments across multiple functional domains
  • Experience with complex agile software development
  • Knowledge of architecture modelling techniques, including conceptualisation, modelling, and visualisation of architecture models and designs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to draft clear and concise documents on complex matters for various audiences
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments. The position requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The successful candidate will be required to have a thorough knowledge of one of the languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge of another language of the European Union.
