About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team at European Dynamics. As a key member of our ICT team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the definition of solutions (blueprinting) together with peers in the Architecture team and delivery project engineers;
  • Assess technologies and products suitable for the solution to be deployed or amended, including security, application, and infrastructure aspects;
  • Collaborate actively with the security and compliance teams, within and outside of ICT, to devise, discuss, and agree on applicable security and compliance controls matching Europol policies and regulations;
  • Write OAUTH authentication mechanisms and implement validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests;
  • Provide engineering and delivery teams guidance and clarifications on solution or product characteristics, behaviour expected, and objectives to be achieved.

Requirements

  • University degree and more than 9 years of experience in ICT Solution Architecture and Design;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in solution architecture definition, documentation, and delivery support;
  • Experience in at least one project devising big data solutions leveraging technologies such as Elasticsearch, Neo4J, NoSQL databases, and SQL databases;
  • Experience with solutions related to data acquisition processing, reporting, analytics solutions, such as data visualization, pipelining, etc.;
  • Good Knowledge of microservices-based architectures and supporting data/application integration methods;
  • Knowledge of ArchiMate or other equivalent architecture notation;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
