Quality Controller Job Description

Expleo is seeking a skilled Quality Controller to oversee the quality control of new serial trains arriving in the Netherlands. As a consultant, you will work closely with our teams and customers to ensure that every train meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

The Role
  • Conduct quality checks on new serial trains arriving in the Netherlands to identify any additional issues compared to shipment.
  • Define and regularly update the Quality Control Plan for each train during the commissioning process.
  • Identify and properly register defects during the commissioning of new trains.
  • Control repairs and fixes to ensure a high level of quality and acceptance by the customer.
  • Participate in the acceptance process with the customer and ensure all identified defects are properly addressed.
  • Perform analysis of recurring issues to contribute to the Return on Experience shared with the train manufacturing site.
  • Conduct quality controls for retrofit activities performed by the PI Team.
  • Ensure the availability of Car History Book & Compliance of the commissioned train before delivery.
  • Support containment actions and contribute to problem-solving processes in case of safety or quality issues.
Requirements
  • Degree level education.
  • Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Basic knowledge of the domestic market.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Technical Quality environment.
  • Experience as a Technical Quality Controller is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive and customer-focused with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with good initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is required; proficiency in Dutch (speaking and writing) is highly desirable.
