R&D Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Manager to lead our Bioreactor Systems development team at Getinge Applikon. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our bioreactor systems and collaborating with international teams to turn innovative ideas into reality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for bioreactor systems development, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test bioreactor systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify and capitalize on new market trends and customer needs, translating them into product innovations that meet or exceed market expectations.
- Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the R&D team, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders, including international teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a proven track record in a leadership role within R&D.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into smart, practical solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach teams to achieve their full potential.
- In-depth knowledge of the biotechnology industry and a passion for developing technologies that truly matter.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
