Job DescriptionWe are seeking an entrepreneurial Data Scientist to help shape AI and GenAI solutions for our clients. As a Data Science Specialist AI, you will engage with business data consumers to translate their needs into feasible solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement systems with in-built financial domain knowledge.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Synechron's practices to understand client requirements and identify AI opportunities;
- Engage with clients to understand their data-related challenges and translate these to data-driven solutions;
- Analyze and/or clean data sets to make data ready for usage in data science solutions;
- Build and train AI models using various techniques, algorithms, and frameworks;
- Deploy AI solutions and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal performance;
- Engage with clients to showcase the value and benefits of AI solutions, and provide technical guidance and expertise;
- Design, develop, and implement in-house prototypes showcasing potential data science solutions to clients;
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and Large Language Model technologies;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining AI systems;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with clients and cross-functional teams;
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, PySpark, R, or Java;
- Demonstratable experience with at least one advanced machine learning application: natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and/or other deep learning techniques;
- Experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure but also AWS, GCP, etc.) and big data technologies (Databricks) is a plus;
