Job Title: Data Science LeadWe are seeking a highly qualified Data Science Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in integrating our 'AI First' principle within our global platform. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable data science processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop scalable data science processes and systems
- Lead a diverse team of data scientists to support our mechanical data analysts in translating complex data center contexts into effective and efficient ML models
- Perform hands-on model development and deployment activities
- Work closely with the AI research team to identify new and impactful developments in ML and AI
- Support and enthuse product managers in developing and delivering market-changing solutions rooted in cutting-edge AI
- Collaborate with software engineers, MLOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of machine learning solutions into our products and services
- Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a Physics-related field with abundant ML experience
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a SaaS product domain
- 1+ years of experience in hiring and managing a team of data scientists
- Preferred experience with ML/AI dealing with physical processes and relations
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Experience with one or more data science platforms like Dataiku, Databricks, DataRobot, etc.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
