Job Title: Accounts Payable Cluster Lead
About the Role
Fugro is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Cluster Lead to join our Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) team in Leidschendam. As a key member of our Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for driving and motivating the team, managing change, and ensuring the smooth operation of the AP process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall AP process for multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Deliver periodic AP reporting and assist with month-end closing and other tasks as needed.
- Provide support to AP Accountants/Assistants and serve as the main point of contact for external suppliers and Fugro entities on AP-related questions.
- Take care of first-level review of vendor master data, follow up on escalations, and open items.
- Continuously look for improvements in the AP process and management of AP.
- Report to the AP Team Lead.
Requirements
- BSc degree in a financial discipline or certificate in Accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Previous experience in leading, motivating, coaching, and developing a team, taking into account team performance & skill development and meeting stringent deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels and an excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Service and results-oriented and in possession of a continuous process improvement mindset.
