About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Manager to join our team at Siemens Nederland N.V. in Den Haag. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for international projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of technical equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for international projects, including the procurement of e-houses, skids, and other technical equipment.
  • Participate in project meetings to advise on procurement matters and execute project-specific procurement scopes.
  • Lead and coordinate Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain a sustainable international supplier base, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, bid management, engineers, project management, and project controllers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project procurement, with a strong background in procuring technical equipment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and cost savings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Bachelor's degree in procurement management, supply chain management, or a related field.
