Hydrogen Combustion Engine Calibration Specialist

At Yacht, we're seeking a skilled Hydrogen Combustion Engine Calibration Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven. As a key member of our engine development center, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our engines meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans for engine and aftertreatment systems, analyzing complex data to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement calibration strategies for hydrogen and liquid gas engines.
- Document and evaluate test results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Supervise test set-up and execution, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Develop new test procedures and protocols for engine and aftertreatment systems, staying up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
- Strong knowledge of hydrogen and/or liquid gas development, with experience in internal combustion engines and related sub-systems.
- Proficiency in modern control strategies, electronics, and thermodynamics, with a focus on fluid dynamics.
- Experience with calibration work packages related to natural gas or hydrogen engines, including measurement techniques and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a complex project-oriented environment.
- Good English skills, with a willingness to learn Dutch and adapt to a multicultural team.
