We invite applications for the position of Tenure-Track Professor in the School of Chinese Medicine . This role is designed for a three-year fixed-term appointment, with potential for renewal and consideration for tenure based on performance evaluations. Exceptional candidates may be eligible for tenure terms from the outset.
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine, eligible for registration with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong, along with a Ph.D. in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines;
- A notable history of research and academic contributions in the domain of Chinese Medicine;
- Significant teaching experience in higher education institutions;
- Extensive practical experience in the field;
- Demonstrated international recognition for scholarly work and professional expertise;
- A proven record of community involvement;
- An understanding of the East Asian context, particularly in relation to Hong Kong and mainland China;
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages.
A competitive salary will be offered, aligned with qualifications and experience, along with annual leave and medical benefits. Current tax rates for salaries do not exceed 15% of gross income. The position includes a contract-end gratuity and contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, amounting to up to 15% of the basic salary. Housing benefits may also be available as applicable.

Applicants are required to provide (i) an executive summary detailing their research field and significant contributions to teaching, research, healthcare services, administration, and knowledge exchange; and (ii) an updated CV that includes a list of publications, highlighting the four most significant publications from the past six years.
