Job Description

**Norm Compliance Officer IGT Systems**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Norm Compliance Officer to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our Norm Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our IGT systems comply with all relevant international and national regulations, including MDR and Philips Healthcare processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the applicable standards and regulations for products to be developed, such as IEC 60601 series, IEC 62304, and EU MDR.
  • Develop and execute the standards and compliance plan, ensuring that all required standards and regulations are covered.
  • Create project deliverables related to Norm Compliance responsibilities, including securing the implementation and verification of all specified legal requirements.
  • Support designers and testers with the interpretation and testing of standards and regulations, and arrange and complete all evidence for gaining product certification.
  • Provide technical support to the Regulatory Affairs department as preparation for submission to Regulatory bodies and countries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field, health sciences, or related.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Software and/or hardware Testing/Engineering or similar roles within a complex environment.
  • Background in the global medical devices industry is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of product safety standards, such as IEC, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with other national and international regulations is an advantage.
  • Well-developed project management skills are preferred.
  • Proven experience in improvement activities and audits is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IEC series, including collateral- and X-ray related particular standards.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62304 and EU MDR.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence related standards and regulations.
