We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Security Officer/Beveiliger to join our team at Kimpton de Witt. As a key member of our security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain a high level of situational awareness through the use of 70 surveillance cameras, addressing issues such as lost property, fire, theft, burglary, accident prevention, key management, and enforcing house rules.
- Implement and maintain Safety & Security procedures, providing expert advice on security risks and taking decisive action during evacuations or emergencies.
- Collaborate with various departments, offering and receiving support as needed, and work closely with a team of 5 security guards during different shifts.
- Maintain composure in stressful situations, taking the lead during emergencies, problems, and breakdowns, and coordinate and report events promptly.
- Support the growth and development of the security team, prioritizing career and personal development.
- 1 year of relevant experience as a Hotel security/Beveiliger and/or in possession of a MBO Beveiliger 2 diploma.
- Availability to work 3 or 5 days a week.
- Flexibility to work on morning/evening/night shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Service-minded attitude.
- Proof of good behaviour (VOG).
- Fluent in Dutch; preferably, also proficient in English.
- Experience Stay at Kimpton De Witt as part of our introduction program.
