Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Bartender to enhance our bar team. If you excel in crafting exquisite cocktails and delivering outstanding service, this role may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in both the Lobby Bar and the Twenty Third Bar.
  • Engage with guests warmly, catering to both local and international clientele.
  • Take orders, mix, and serve drinks while ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for new beverage recipes that will delight our guests.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control of wines, beers, champagnes, and other ingredients.

Work Environment

You will collaborate with various departments within the hotel, fostering teamwork to achieve excellence. The position involves rotating shifts throughout a 7-day workweek, with working hours from 15:00 to 02:00. You will work 5 days a week, totaling 7.6 hours per day, and must be available for public holidays.

  • Travel expense contributions for distances over 10 km (one way).
  • Study budget of €1,000.
  • Complimentary overnight stay with breakfast for two after the probationary period.

Candidate Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation.
  • Creative ideas for innovative drink combinations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
  • Flexibility in shift availability.
  • Residing in Amsterdam or nearby areas.
  • Two positive references required as part of the pre-employment screening process.
