We're seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our Warehouse Systems team at Picnic. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of our modular software platform, which supports our manual and automated fulfillment operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive solution design and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of our software platform.
- Lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant solutions that meet business requirements.
- Design and estimate technical solutions for presented challenges, working closely with the Product Owner to evaluate initiatives and drive roadmap discussions.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable support model for our product, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement.
- 7+ years of experience in back-end development, including Java, Spring Boot, AMQP, and SQL.
- 2+ years of experience in leading projects and/or teams.
- Profound understanding of cloud-based software architecture and experience with migrating from a monolith to a microservices architecture.
- Strong abstract thinking and ability to translate high-level architectures into executable plans.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to structure thoughts and express them clearly verbally and in writing.
