About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Biostatistics Intern to join our team at Danone Research & Innovation Center in Utrecht. As a Biostatistics Intern, you will play a key role in reviewing and analyzing historical longitudinal studies, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance our research processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of historical longitudinal studies conducted by Danone Nutricia Research, as well as relevant external publications;
- Analyze study methodologies, identify pitfalls and potential improvements;
- Collaborate with team members to develop and propose innovative solutions for future studies with longitudinal data;
- Document the findings and present recommendations to the Biometrics team, contributing to our continuous efforts to improve our research methodology.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a strong statistical background and an interest in medical nutrition. You should have experience with statistical analysis tools such as SAS and R, and be enrolled as a Master's student during the whole internship period. You should also be fluent in English, both oral and written, and able to work from our Utrecht office at least 2 times per week.
What We Offer
As a Biostatistics Intern, you will work in a team consisting of statistical programmers and (senior) statisticians, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research. You will be supported from beginning to end by your supervisor, and you will have the chance to work alongside clinical researchers in the field. Together, we'll build a healthier world.
We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 650 euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel. Please note that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
Please be aware that you must acquire a BSN number to receive the full internship allowance.
