Sonar Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonar Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Optics11. As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our cutting-edge fiber optic sensing technology.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop system solution architectures for our hydrophone towed arrays and static subsea acoustic monitoring systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute pilot demonstrations and field trials to ensure successful trials and data collection.
- Process and evaluate measurement data, and report and document test results for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the business development and sales teams in customer meetings with technical discussions and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with hardware and software R&D engineers and product managers to conceptualize and implement test setups and methodologies.

- BSc/MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Naval Engineering, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in a similar position as a system or test engineer.
- Good knowledge of data processing and analysis with Python or similar tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with an open and social personality.
- Structured and independent way of working, with an affinity for project management.
