Government Relations

PhotonDelta is a growth accelerator for the photonic chip industry, driving innovation and collaboration between organizations to accelerate the development and adoption of photonic chip technology.

We are seeking an experienced Government Relations & Strategy Manager to play a key role in our intensive relationship with key governmental stakeholders and other parties that influence policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for accelerating and generating interest from the public and key governmental stakeholders to realise the Dutch ambition to be a global player in the photonic chip industry.

• Develop and implement a public and government affairs strategy to communicate the interests of the photonic chip industry and its value chain.
• Build and maintain relevant networks with European, national, and regional stakeholders to identify and influence opportunities for new projects and funding.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, and Programme Director to ensure successful initiation and deployment of Public & Governmental stakeholder management.
• Monitor, assess, and influence upcoming European and relevant national and regional opportunities.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in government relations and strategy.
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Affinity towards the photonic chip industry.
• Relevant experience working in government relations and innovation projects funded by the EU and national and regional governments.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
