Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. As a key member of our IT division, you will be responsible for the provision, further development, and support of systems on the Linux platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain Linux servers in KfW's data centers
  • Implement Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) in the Linux server environment
  • Monitor service performance and optimize processes as part of event management
  • Analyze errors, initiate improvement processes, and perform root cause analyses
  • Contribute to IT development projects with expertise in infrastructure-relevant requirements and testing
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code, Config Management, and scripting/programming experience (Python and Ansible)
  • Knowledge of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and its connection to an EMC-based SAN infrastructure
  • Experience with VMware ESXi 6
  • Excellent communication skills in German (business language) and good command of English
