About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our Sleep and Respiratory Care division in Eindhoven. As a Senior Scientist, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on innovative projects that focus on respiratory care solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development of new respiratory care solutions, collaborating with global teams to drive innovation.
  • Engage with healthcare institutes to implement data-driven and value-based solutions for patients with respiratory diseases.
  • Develop and execute industrial research projects, expanding knowledge in respiratory diseases, sleep disorders, and comorbidities.
  • Support protocol development for clinical studies, validating propositions and contributing to intellectual property creation.
  • Collaborate with international teams, working from our office and remotely, with a flexible hybrid working model.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD degree in biomedical engineering, technical medicine, or equivalent relevant degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, with expertise in respiratory physiology and clinical trials.
  • Knowledge of chronic diseases, such as COPD, OSA, heart failure, and diabetes, is a plus.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, or Python is a plus.
  • Strong multi-tasking and team collaboration skills, with a hands-on attitude and ability to drive/manage projects.
