Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an R&D Sourcing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for co-developing and executing the category strategy to improve quality, speed, and costs for our Research and Development (R&D) services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for R&D services
  • Support the supplier selection process, including tendering, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers
  • Manage supplier relationships, risks, and performance in terms of quality, logistics, technology, costs, and sustainability
  • Participate in project steering committees to ensure proper contracts are in place
  • Support the procure-to-pay process

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a professional, complex, and international environment
  • Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant area (e.g., Technology Management, Business Economics, Mechanics, Electronics)
  • Experience in collaborating with commercial companies, academia, and non-profit organizations
  • Affinity with research and science

Skills

  • Business partnering to ensure buy-in from senior stakeholders in other departments, combined with a result-driven, can-do mentality
  • Negotiation and contracting skills, including IP terms
  • Supplier management in a multidisciplinary context
  • Excellent professional communication in English

Additional Information

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
