Role Overview
As a Sourcing Manager - Non-Product Related (NPR), you will be instrumental in executing sourcing strategies for non-product categories within our global Sourcing framework, collaborating closely with internal partners such as Operations and R&D.
Our offerings are complex, featuring innovative technologies tailored for unique customer needs, thus necessitating high standards in Prodrive's Manufacturing, Research, Software, and IT sectors. Together with Sourcing Coordinators, who will assist you in implementation, you will drive the NPR supply chain based on business priorities and sourcing strategies. Your role will focus on commercial optimization while ensuring the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
We seek an experienced Sourcing Manager NPR who can make a significant impact within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies and plans for sourcing activities in NPR.
- Align sourcing strategies with organizational goals and secure stakeholder support.
- Assess the need for additional suppliers and evaluate their performance.
- Serve as the liaison between Operations, R&D, Sourcing, and the supply base.
- Identify and address gaps and constraints within the supply base promptly.
- Manage contractual requirements and oversee contract negotiations.
- Negotiate advantageous terms with suppliers to drive cost savings and value enhancement.
- Represent Sourcing in new equipment selection and capital expenditure negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and department heads, to grasp their needs and priorities.
- Act as a mentor to Sourcing Coordinators when necessary.
- Ensure smooth operational processes are maintained.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills (English proficiency is essential).
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
- Proficient in managing internal and supplier relationships, with the ability to assertively advocate in a constructive manner.
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a focus on win-win outcomes.
- Skilled in obtaining buy-in from internal (executive) stakeholders.
