Job Overview

The Senior Information Security Specialist will design, develop, and maintain policies, procedures, and technical controls aligned with information security frameworks. The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security and experience working in an international environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, monitor, and update the information security management environment (systems, policies, procedures)
  • Monitor and coordinate the review and publication of client policies and procedures with process owners
  • Promote awareness of good information security practices
  • Manage risks and issues ensuring they are communicated and mitigated so that the business is kept fully informed of progress
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to drive continuous security improvement
  • Conduct periodic information security audits, suggesting countermeasures, and proactively developing solutions
  • Manage information security transformation projects, including compliance and audit-related projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Fluent in English (writing and speaking)
  • CISSP/CISM or similar information security certifications
  • 3-5 years of post-graduation experience in an information security operational role in an international environment
  • Able to work from one of our offices in the Netherlands for at least two days a week
  • Flexible regarding working hours due to different time zones
  • Excellent eye for detail and able to organize work effectively
