At Adyen, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team in Amsterdam.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned communications professional with 5-8 years of experience in an external communications role, including relevant experience as an external spokesperson. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting compelling messaging that resonates with various audiences and stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will act as the primary Adyen spokesperson for local media, cultivating and maintaining relationships with journalists and editors in the Netherlands.
  • Craft materials that underpin the execution of our communications strategy, translating our business progress into easy-to-understand messaging for a wide range of audiences.
  • Work closely with the Management Board and broader senior leadership team on media engagements and public speaking opportunities.
  • Create documents that support Adyen's interactions with external stakeholders, including FAQs, press briefings, and presentation materials.
  • Partner closely with Adyen's PR team, and nurture the company's relationships with local external stakeholders, including regulators, industry bodies, and other public stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an external communications role, including relevant experience as an external spokesperson.
  • Proven track record of crafting compelling messaging that resonates with various audiences and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
