About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Marel. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers, regional teams, and field service teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Advise and inform internal stakeholders on technical solutions and case status.
  • Ensure that field service engineers' debriefings are processed, and Customer Support is informed on follow-up actions.
  • Update and/or register machine information in Installed Base Management system.
  • Identify technical improvements which can be used for potential commercial opportunities.
  • Be responsible for creating and maintaining service documentation (Service Info, Service Letter and Service Notice).
  • Monitor, evaluate and coordinate reported technical feedback.
  • Identify structural issues from reported technical feedback.
  • Be the central point for supporting the knowledge build up in the regions and the industry/product group.
  • Identify need for technical and technological knowledge within regions (technical support engineers).
  • Proactively share knowledge with regions (technical support engineers).
  • Provide input to the Marel Academy for trainings and training material.

Requirements

  • Bachelor work and thinking level.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Dutch preferred.
  • Strong technical background on high-level food processing equipment required.
  • Excellent communicator with analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in field service or technical support is preferred. Experience in the food industry is an advantage.
