Job Title: Data StewardJob Description:

The Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and governance of data assets within the Business Partners domain. This involves working closely with data and analytics teams, business stakeholders, and digital and IT professionals to establish and maintain data standards, quality, policies, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data quality rules and regularly audit data to ensure it is fit for purpose.
  • Identify, report, analyze, and resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data management strategies, policies, definitions of data, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct data profiling and analysis to assess the quality, completeness, and accuracy of data assets.
  • Implement and monitor data governance processes, including data access controls, data retention policies, and data life cycle management.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have around 4 years of experience in master data management, data analytics, data engineering, or a related area. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, information technology, or a related field is required. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated project experience designing and implementing data governance initiatives in a management role.
