About the Role

As a Data Steward at Damen Shipyards Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and governance of data assets within the domain of Business Partners. This includes ensuring data is deemed fit for purpose by developing data quality rules and regularly auditing data, identifying and resolving data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and collaborating with various stakeholders to define and implement data management strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data quality rules and regularly audit data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Identify and resolve data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data management strategies, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain data governance training programs to increase data literacy and educate stakeholders on data management practices.

Requirements

  • 4 years' experience in master data management, data analytics, data engineering, or a related area.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data analytics, software engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated project experience designing and implementing data governance initiatives in a management role.
