BCG's Technology and Digital Advantage practice area is dedicated to assisting clients in achieving competitive edge and superior business performance through the strategic application of data, technology, and digital solutions. This practice is the fastest-growing at BCG and is central to the strategic impact we deliver to our clients. Our consultants and experts work across various industries, providing extensive experience and expertise in areas such as Digital Transformation, Data & Digital Platforms, AI at Scale, Agile methodologies, Cybersecurity, and Digitizing the Tech Function. Our Tech and Digital offerings encompass specialists from BCG and Platinion, delivering seamless multidisciplinary solutions to our clients.
Your Role
As a Consultant, you will take on comprehensive responsibility for the larger and more intricate 'modules' within a BCG project, while beginning to cultivate specialized knowledge to assist in solving our clients' challenges. You will engage with a variety of digital topics, applying general consulting skills to strategic digital and technology inquiries. By closely collaborating with clients to comprehend their issues, you will formulate strategies for change, secure buy-in for your recommendations, and work alongside fellow BCGers to convert client potential into tangible performance. Our consultants within TDA are vital members of BCG's core consulting team; we collaborate closely with all practice areas to create value and competitive advantages for our clients. You will help clients address questions such as 'How will AI impact my business model?', 'How can organizations leverage data and analytics for highly personalized outreach through a seamless omnichannel experience?', 'How can I deliver higher quality digital services to my customers more rapidly using agile methodologies?' and many others.
What We Seek
We are in search of exceptional talent from consulting or industry backgrounds who can join us promptly. Ideal candidates will typically possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working:
- with a leading consulting firm (focused on technology/digital initiatives);
- in a corporate role centered on technology/digital initiatives (e.g., business analyst);
- in a tech start-up leadership position; or in a 'consulting-like' industry (e.g., digital strategy, digital marketing).
- An outstanding academic record, including a bachelor's degree and/or advanced graduate degree, or equivalent work experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
