About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Electrical Engineer to join our team at Nouryon. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the global Electrical Equipment Strategy, working closely with regional Maintenance & Reliability support teams to drive improvement in reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Electrical Equipment strategy, advising Nouryon leadership on Electrical Equipment strategy and standards
  • Monitor adherence to Electrical Equipment standards and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Advise regional teams on best practices for Electrical Equipment maintenance and reliability, driving improvement in Electrical Equipment performance
  • Develop and deploy end-of-life management programs, assessing the need for replacement or overhaul investments
  • Take a leading role in large-scale Electrical Equipment replacement programs, such as main transformer and rectifier replacements
  • Identify and deploy best practices across regions, assessing state-of-the-art techniques for condition-based and predictive maintenance
  • Monitor and support root cause analysis and problem-solving for serious Electrical Equipment failures
  • Drive quality of root cause analyses and apply learnings across sites and regions
  • Create a global network of Nouryon Electrical engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Equipment design, operation, and maintenance, with a focus on predictive and condition-based methods
  • Active knowledge of Electrical Equipment standards and codes, including NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, IEEE 1814, and European and Chinese equivalents
  • Experience with main intake transformers, rectifier/transformers, harmonic filters, protection relays, and other Electrical Equipment
  • Professional Engineering certification preferred
  • Experience in a regional Electrical subject matter expert role, setting standards and driving implementation across multiple sites

  • A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 107,200 and EUR 145,000
