About the Role

Nouryon is seeking a highly experienced Global Electrical Engineer to lead our global Electrical team and drive the development of our Electrical Equipment Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Electrical Equipment Strategy to drive reliability and efficiency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with regional Maintenance & Reliability support teams to identify performance opportunities and reliability gaps.
  • Design and deploy end-of-life management programs to ensure seamless transitions and minimize downtime.
  • Lead large-scale replacement programs, including main transformers and associated equipment.
  • Identify and deploy best practices in condition-based and predictive maintenance.
  • Monitor and analyze root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain a global network of Electrical engineers to share knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering degree (bachelor's or master's)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Equipment design, operation, and maintenance
  • Active knowledge of standards and codes, including NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, IEEE 1814, and European and Chinese equivalents
  • Experience with main intake transformers, rectifier/transformers, harmonic filters, and protection relays
  • Professional Engineering certification
  • Experience in a regional Electrical subject matter expert role, setting standards and driving implementation across multiple sites
