The role of HR Representative at Avery Dennison offers the opportunity to work 32 hours a week, collaborating closely with the HR Manager and HR Business Partners.

  • Responsibilities will include ensuring business continuity and being responsible for all HR tasks and processes, together with the team.
  • A trusted advisor, providing support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR topics, from onboarding and performance management to legal compliance.
  • Consulting on career/skill development opportunities and plans with a view to talent development and succession planning for our teams
  • Be a change agent, leading and participating in exciting (inter)national projects focused on talent management, diversity, equity & inclusion, employee engagement, wellbeing, sustainability, future of work, and process optimization.
  • Collaborating effectively with our HR Center of Excellence (Global Workforce Operations) to leverage expertise and best practices.

Qualifications

  • A degree preferably in the field of human resources, law, business organization or psychology or similar.
  • First experience as HR Generalist, preferably in an international (matrix) organization.
  • First knowledge of topics such as recruitment, employee and organizational development, coaching/advising of managers of as well as handling labor law topics.
  • Broad basic understanding of the Dutch employment law/practices.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to learn and grow alongside our business growth.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking to build sustainable projects.
  • Flexibility to commute to other AD sites (located around Oegstgeest).
