Role Overview

The primary focus of the Payroll Specialist position includes:

• Ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.

• Adhering to local tax regulations and labor agreements.

• Managing administrative and control tasks for the Payroll department.

• Demonstrating structured and process-oriented work habits with meticulous attention to detail.

• Exhibiting flexibility and a strong work ethic in a dynamic environment.

• Acting as a trusted advisor on payroll issues in interactions with both local and international partners.

• Collaborating effectively with various HR departments.

• Handling salary data exchanges with payroll providers and performing necessary calculations and validations to ensure data accuracy.

• Conducting ad-hoc reporting and fulfilling additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management.

• Proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, MS Office, and SAP is essential.

• Knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of organizational interdependencies and experience in cross-functional and multicultural environments.

• Experience in high-volume operational settings is necessary.

• Prior involvement in internal controls through audit participation is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the capacity to manage competing priorities.

• This role requires significant coordination with various internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing accountability and ownership of data and processes.
