Work EnvironmentFoot Locker operates its European Service Center (ESC) in Heijen, which serves as the hub for supplying all stores in the EMEA region and managing e-commerce orders and returns for our customers. We are currently looking to strengthen our teams across various departments within the ESC.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat will you be responsible for?
As a Logistics Operations Supervisor, you will support the Supervisor in overseeing all staff and temporary personnel. You will play a crucial role in the operational management of the warehouse, ensuring that daily processes run efficiently. You will work collaboratively with other team leaders and logistics assistants to manage the team effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Resolving issues swiftly and effectively as they arise.
- Encouraging, motivating, and guiding team members to maintain focus on their tasks.
- Ensuring that team objectives are met while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
- Proposing enhancements to optimize processes and acting promptly when challenges occur.
- Managing conflicts independently or escalating them to the Supervisor when necessary.
- Compiling reports and analyzing data from the warehouse management system to provide daily feedback to the Supervisor.
Who are you?
We are in search of an individual who can thrive in an international logistics environment. You should possess proficiency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Ideally, you will have a background in logistics or relevant managerial experience within the logistics sector. Familiarity with automation tools (such as scanning equipment and warehouse management systems) is essential, along with a willingness to learn new processes.
